Description
A thousand miles south-west of Cape Town, in the stormy Southern Ocean, 42-foot Galway Blazer II was thrown right over in the dying throes of a hurricane force storm. She came up with her foremast gone, her mainmast crippled and a few tons of water inside her hull. Yet Bill King, all on his own in the hostile ocean, doggedly set about cleaning up the confused mess for three days, before another severe gale threw the boat over on her beam ends.
