Description
From Cape Sable in Nova Scotia to the waters around Scandinavia stretches an area of water which provides a background against which some of history’s most exciting sailing has taken place. Over these cold tracts some of the finest European and American sailors have acquired the knowledge and experienced the adventures they afterwards captured in books.
These are the seas of the Vikings, the Danes and the Dutch; the very birthplace of the yacht.
