Description

Jason’s Creek is a small and almost forgotten settlement in the North Island’s east coast, hiding somewhere to the north of Auckland. The residents of the Creek are mostly retired folk, aptly calling themselves ‘the Creekers’. The isolation and natural beauty of the Creek make it an ideal place to retire. As this light-hearted tale reveals, although their bones may creak a little, and some of them may have lost their youth, the Creekers most certainly have not lost their will to live and enjoy themselves. Probably because of their isolation, they all share a somewhat peculiar sense of humour. And as commonly found in isolated communities, they also suffer from the inherent perils of gossip and hearsay. Follow this motley group during one lovely New Zealand summer as they stumble their way through a hilarious succession of adventures and misadventures
