Over the last 50 years, Robert Brooke has been collecting NZ Classic Yacht Designs. This personal collection features a number of original pencil and ink drawings by Arch Logan, Chas Bailey, Charlie and Alex Collings and his own father John Brooke, plus blueprints and photocopies from many other designers, including Bob Stewart, Colin Wild, Bert Woolacott, Des Townson and Alan Wright. From this extensive archive, Robert has selected 50 New Zealand designed, and built classic yachts, launches, centreboarders and dinghys to be included in this book. These designs range from 124ft Sailing Vessels to 7ft P Class yachts. Each design has been redrawn, off the original plans and scaled as similar format. Every yacht included has a photograph, scale drawing and sail plan, complete with a small history and racing career of the yacht.
