It could not be done – around the world non-stop in a sailing boat in less than 80 days. Yet a small group of experienced sailors, Britons, New Zealanders and Frenchmen, thought it was possible and so began the contest for what became known as the Jules Verne Trophy. This is the story of one of the competing boats, the catamaran Enza, skippered jointly by Robin Knox-Johnston of Britain and New Zealand’s leading yachtsman, Peter Blake
