Description
Nearly nine hundred entries, some three hundred and fifty of them illustrated, help all yachtsmen to check on or learn the terms of seamanship and the multitude of yacht parts and fittings. Many of the entries go further than that, supplying as they do useful tips on how to carry out certain maneuvres and on points of etiquette. Whenever the drawings are self-explanatory the text has been kept to a minimum, so that the information is, in the main, conveyed in visual form. Every efforts has been made to include the latest gadgets and methods but older terms have been listed when they still have significance or interest.
