Description
This edition has been compiled from the second edition of Cruising Banks Peninsula and expanded to link with the New Zealand Cruising Guide, Central Area and Cruising Stewart Island. It’s purpose is to assist boaties to cruise the many bays and harbours of Banks Peninsula and travel the coast to the Marlborough Sounds or Stewart Island.
It is divided into three sections:
- Banks Peninsula north to Cook Strait, Wellington, Porirua Harbour and Mana Marina
- Banks Peninsula, including Lyttleton and Akaroa Harbours
- Banks Peninsula south to Bluff Harbour
Also included is Paremata/Porirua Inlet and Mana Marina, as several boaties transport boats from Auckland by road to Mana either to cruise the Marlborough Sounds or venture further south.
