The life story of a true single-handed sailing great. Jean-Luc Van Den Heede has rounded Cape Horn twelve times and completed six solo circumnavigations resulting in 5 podium places plus 1 world record, held since 2004 for circumnavigating against prevailing winds and currents. His podiums include two Vendée Globes and finally winning the retro (‘as in 1968’) Golden Globe Race in 2019 at the age of 73.
